This is what the teaching looks like on the floor.

Swish 22 grows out of decades of camps, clinics, coaching, and working directly with players.

One day · Three hours

Three hours packed with what players need to become good shooters.

No long multi-day commitment. No filler. We use the time to teach, rep, refine, and give players a framework they can keep using after the clinic.

HOUR 1

Understand the shot

Build a clear foundation: balance, shot preparation, ball movement, release, follow-through, and the simple cues players need to understand what a good shot should feel like.

HOUR 2

Refine through repetitions

Move from teaching into coached reps. Players get feedback, make adjustments, and learn to recognize the difference between a productive rep and simply getting shots up.

HOUR 3

Transfer it to basketball

Connect the shooting work to game-relevant footwork, catches, movement, decision-making, free throws, and a plan players can continue after the clinic.

What your players leave with

Not just drills. A way to work on shooting.

The goal is to give players instruction they can understand and coaches a teaching language they can reinforce when the clinic is over.

For players

  • A clearer understanding of their shot
  • Simple shooting cues they can remember
  • Purposeful repetitions instead of mindless reps
  • Better awareness of balance, preparation, release, and finish
  • A process for noticing and correcting misses
  • A practical way to continue training after the clinic

For coaches

  • A common language for teaching shooting
  • A progression you can reinforce at future practices
  • Coaching points that are easier for players to understand
  • A focused event without creating the curriculum yourself
  • An opportunity for your local staff to hear the same instruction
  • A clinic built to fit into one day and three hours
Host requirements

What we need from the local host.

A good clinic starts with the right gym, direct communication with families, and local coaches who will support the event.

What the host provides

  • At least 6 functioning baskets with nets; more baskets and more space are even better
  • A direct way to reach parents, preferably an email mailing list
  • Promotion that does not rely only on social media or players passing information home
  • Support and promotion from the other coaches in the school, club, or area
  • 4 local coaches at the clinic to help as assistants
  • A realistic plan to reach the standard 30-player host guarantee

Written shooting testimonials

What coaches and players have said about Adam Taylor's shooting.

Written testimonials from Adam Taylor Basketball shooting testimonial files.

“I had the opportunity to coach Adam when I was the assistant men’s basketball coach at Pillsbury College in Minnesota over 20 years ago. I still consider him to be one of the best shooters that I ever coached. His mechanics were smooth, all due to hard work done the right way.”

Dr. Tim RiceSports Psychologist and longtime basketball coach

“Coach Taylor would walk in the gym everyday for workouts and knock down 10 threes in a row without any warm up. If you were to search the internet perfect shooting form, you'd find all of those elements in his form / shot.”

Michael MasellaFormer Player

“Anyone who wants to improve their shooting skills should join Coach Adam Taylor’s program. His shooting technique helped me become the all time leading scorer at North Central University with 2,235 points.”

Nate RoederFormer Player

“I grew up around shooters all my life. But I've seen very few with a shot quite like Taylor's. With his picture perfect, textbook form, he's automatic from three and free!”

People who saw the shooting — and the work behind it.

Former coaches and players describe Adam Taylor's shooting, mechanics, and ability to teach the shot.

Having had the privilege of coaching Adam Taylor I can say he was one of the best 3 point shooters I have coached. A career 48 percent from the 3 and close to 90 percent from the line. He had simple form and great footwork.

Frequently asked questions

Questions coaches and parents usually ask.

Is this really only three hours?

Yes. Swish 22 is a one-day, three-hour shooting clinic. The clinic is intentionally focused so programs do not need to commit an entire weekend while players still receive a full progression of instruction and repetitions.

Who is the clinic designed for?

The host funnel is aimed at high school, middle school, and youth basketball programs. Parents can also submit a request if they are helping organize a local clinic and can connect us with the gym and basketball leadership.

How many baskets do we need?

The standard minimum is six functioning baskets with nets. More baskets and additional court space are helpful.

Who handles registration?

Swish 22 handles player registration and payment collection once the clinic has been approved and the event details are finalized.

Can we promote only on social media?

Social media can help, but direct communication with parents is important. Email or another reliable parent-contact channel should be part of the host's promotion plan.

What is the host guarantee?

The standard expectation is the equivalent of 30 paid participants. If fewer than 30 register, the standard agreement calls for the host to cover the shortfall. This is discussed before anything is booked.

What does each player receive after the clinic?

Every participating player receives a Swish Player Resources account with a username and password. The library includes the legacy Swish shooting series created by Coach Tom Nordland, plus shooting workouts, training plans, discussions, mindset training, character development, overall basketball resources, and additional Swish 22 material.

What does it cost each player?

The individual player registration fee is $147 per player. If a school, club, or association wants to pay a fixed clinic fee for the group, that arrangement is negotiated separately and handled through a separate payment link.
