What You'll Master
Discover the exact body alignment that sends the ball on a straight, repeatable path to the basket — every single time. No more drifting left or right.
Learn why most shooters use too much arm and wrist — and how to generate smooth, effortless power that makes long-range shots feel easy.
The core concept behind the Swish Method: shoot with your whole body in one fluid motion rather than a series of disjointed muscle actions.
When your mechanics are reliable and physics-backed, pressure shrinks. Step to the line or pull up from three with total confidence under any circumstance.
Coaches and parents: the Swish Method is designed to be passed on. Clear principles, repeatable drills, and a framework any player can understand.
SWISH 3 is entirely devoted to free throw mastery — using Newton's Law of Inertia to create a ritual so consistent, you'll dread missing more than you dread shooting.
From foundation to advanced application to free throw specialization — this isn't a collection of random tips. It's a beginning-to-end system that builds on itself.

The Legacy
Tom Nordland wasn't just another shooting coach. He was a Minnesota basketball legend — a player who led his high school to a state championship, earned a full scholarship to Stanford University, and spent decades studying the biomechanics of the perfect shot.
After his playing days, Tom dedicated his life to cracking the code on shooting. He worked with players at every level — youth, high school, college, and even NBA and WNBA professionals. His Swish Method became the gold standard for shooters who wanted a physics-based, repeatable approach to putting the ball through the hoop.
The three SWISH videos are the distilled result of that lifetime of research, coaching, and obsessive refinement. They represent the most complete shooting system ever created by a single coach.

Tom Nordland passed away a few years ago. In June 2025, Adam Taylor acquired Swish International and relaunched it as Swish 22 Basketball — with one clear mission: to honor and continue the proven legacy Tom built over decades. The method hasn't changed. The principles haven't changed. The science hasn't changed. What has changed is that these world-class resources are now more accessible than ever.
Still Relevant. Still Unmatched.
The Swish Method is built on Newton's laws and biomechanical principles not trends, fads, or opinions. Gravity and inertia work the same today as they did when Tom first taught them.
Most shooting programs over-complicate mechanics with dozens of cues. The Swish Method reduces everything to a few core principles that any age or skill level can immediately apply.
From 10-year-olds at community rec leagues to WNBA athletes on national television — the Swish Method has been battle-tested across every level of competitive basketball.
