It's a simple-yet-profound introduction to a powerful way to shoot a basketball. Kids, parents and coaches can watch it and come to understand the principles they need to practice and master to improve shooting skill. Swish 1 comes with a "Swish Workbook" (the text of the video, word-for-word) plus a 2-page take-to-the-court "Shooting Guide." Note the Workbook is included as a PDF on the Swish DVD disc. Use a computer to access and print it. If that doesn't work, email us (tom@swish22.com) and we'll send you the PDF directly. If you can only afford one video, get Swish 2 or Swish 3, as they are a more complete and thorough presentation of this way of shooting. But Swish, the original, is SO effective as an introduction to Swish, especially for younger kids, that we recommend strongly you get it, too, for just an additional $15, with no extra for shipping. Here’s how you can learn to teach the Swish way, a Swish eBook that can turn you into a more effective “shooting coach.” This spells out exactly what to do. Follow this protocol and you will make a difference with your players. The new eBook comes in a 58-page PDF format. Coupled with the Swish videos, you will have a powerful approach to coaching this critical basketball skill. Any player who pays attention to your coaching and follows your instructions cannot help but grow. If viewed On Line, it gives the reader access to 33 video clips from both Swish videos that help visually display the teachings. Just by reading it in conjunction with watching the videos and going to a court and teaching what you’ve learned, you will develop into a more effective, perhaps exceptional, shooting coach. It's recommended that you coach yourself at the same time, if not before. Results will be immediate! By providing your players with Swish videos before or after (which you can get from us at a deep discount), you will give them the follow up program they need to retain and sustain the learning and continue to self-coach. NEW PERSONAL COACHING PROGRAM – “PURE SHOOTING” IN WEEKS Tom is now offering a remote coaching service for just $97 that will coach you to “Pure Shooting” in just weeks! It utilizes video and email communication. The course includes access to an On-Line "streaming video" view of Swish 2,* plus a PDF describing how you can discover "How you shoot now," the first step in this process. Along with that, you're asked to download, print and fill out a 2-page Questionnaire on this "How now" stuff. Then, by faxing the form to Tom, he can see where you're at. This becomes a stepping off point for this coaching. After you've determined the "How now" and done the Questionnaire and then viewed Swish 2, next spend a week or more working on the Swish way of shooting. You will start to modify your shooting, so work with it for a week or two, at least. Only then send Tom a short video clip of your technique. That starts a two-cycle coaching where he views the video and sends email coaching back, then you work with his suggestions for a week or so and then make a second video to send to him (a "Before" and "After" approach). A second reply of coaching instruction is triggered to discuss additional changes Tom sees as helpful plus any final comments and coaching. Self coaching is now getting sharper. During this time, the student can participate in Teleconference Calls with Tom to get questions answered. (These Calls are being investigated right now and will be offered later.) This two-cycle approach will generally be enough, with Tom emphasizing the awareness and self-coaching you can do from that point on.
