Swish Basketball Shooting Instructional Video

Each month, Tom publishes a free Newsletter on the subject of Shooting. In each issue he writes about what he sees in the game relative to his special niche, shooting. There is plenty of fodder as shooting continues to be poorly understood and practiced.

Throughout the Newsletters he discusses shooting as he sees it in the Game today. He often talks about Learning and what can we do to enhance it. The subject of Coaching is also addressed. It's one thing to know something intellectually and even to do it well youself, but to coach someone else in it takes a different "knowing" and a special knowledge of coaching. Tom also addresses a section of each Newsletter to Kids, writing to the level of a beginner and what they can do to make basketball a more enjoyable experience, especially the shooting, of course!

This is an "Opt-in" list, meaning people are there only if they choose to be. Currently over 4,000 coaches, parents and players get the Newsletter. We hope you will join them.

TO SUBSCRIBE TO THE NEWSLETTER

It's very simple. Here are the steps:

1) Click on the link below to email a company called Topica that is managing our subscription list. You do not need to key in anything, unless you want to use a different email address than the default one for your location. The word "subscribe" will automatically be entered in the subject field for you.

As part of the process of joining this "Opt In" list, when you click on the link a memo is sent to Topica that starts a process in motion. They will then send you back an email asking you to "confirm" that you want to be on the list. This is a positive action to prevent people from just adding you to a list without your permission.

2) When they send you the confirmation email saying "Response Required," you have two options. USE THE SECOND OPTION, RATHER THAN THE FIRST ONE!

A) OPTION #1: The first option they cleverly offer you is to click a link to Topica, where they will ask you to open an account with them. Do that if you want to (if you have need for a List Management system or a Disussion Group of your own, for example), or just exit from the page and you will not create an account but you will still be subscribed. (Note: Topica is probably the largest List Management service available.)

B) PREFERABLE OPTION #2: The second option is the easy one, which is simply to "Reply" with no need to type anything into the subject line. That is enough to trigger the addition of your Email address to the list.

Either way, because you "responded" you will be added to the list. If you don't want to be added, then do neither of the above options.
