Swish Basketball Shooting Instructional Video

If you would like Tom to give you an analysis of your shooting (or your team's shooting), you can send a video of the players shooting to him and he'll return an analysis of the shooting techniques for each player. Here are the options available (see description at bottom of what to send):

Simple analysis of a video

Tom will input your video tape (VHS or Hi-8 digital video cassette tape) to his computer and then overlay his audio comments and create a DVD for the analysis. This is the least expensive option and will be sufficient for most players.

Cost:
For 1 or 2 players ...... $100
For 3 to 4 players ....... $150
For 5 or more players, ask for a quote.

Video Format

Send a VHS cassette or Hi-8 digital video cassette tape. It may be possible to recieve a DVD of the shots, but this has to be researched, if that's your only option.

Here are the kinds of angles and shots he wishes to see:

VIDEO SETUP

Shots
Take video of shots for each player from the side (right side for right handers, left for a left-handers), behind, and in front (from under the basket).

Angles
Take 3-4 shots from the above angles for each of the following: Mid-range Jump shots, Free Throws, 3 Pt shots. If you have shots of a game situation, include them.

Zoom
Zoom in close occasionally for a better look at ball and hand position, and zoom out occasionally to have some shots show the whole flight of the ball (to see height of shots and any tendencies in shot results).
